How to translate reminder message

I created locales for my installation, but email messages to users contains English description.

How to translate text from file remind_user_past_due_issues.html.erb, for example?

Update: when I translate some text in template mentioned, dates ("about 1 month ago", "more than 1 week ago" etc) appears only in English, localizations from .../redmine/config/locales not used

How to add localization to update_duration.days.ago ?
