False-positive "detection" of DTMF cuts reception

Not sure if it is a problem of this firmware, but even if not, perhaps it can be fixed in the next version?
Especially in NFM/FM reception, if the signal is weak, it is cut off intermittently and fictional DTMF characters appear on the dispaly. Of course nobody is transmitting DTMF.
I know that the DTMF display can be turned off by the "D Live" option, but it seems that that is only a graphical representation and the DTMF fictional detection continues to disrupt the reception of weak signals.
Any solution would be great.

D Live is always OFF on my transceiver. And I've never noticed the problem you're talking about. If you've also disabled D Live and the problem persists, could you post a short video?

I don't know why I don't see that option. Maybe I have a bug in Chirp or I missed something somewhere.

1. What my Chirp shows me is the same menus that you have in your videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjO_BAWg8sc and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02T2ODufZOA), and videos and pics shared from others that show their Chirp screen:
   Very few DTMF Settings items in the menu and no DTMF Contacts menu at all. (This is not so important for me, but it is strange).
   

I had all these menu items that you showed me above in the last Egzumer (built-in) module that I used in Chirp, before upgrading to your firmware.

2. Here is a short video of what I meant by false-positive DTMF detections. Perhaps they are only false detections and not really disrupt the reception, which is disrupted due to weak signal or other issues. I'll try to find another example later if I can.

@noamlivne Hummm ok. I will try to fix it in Main Only RxMode if D Live is ON. As I said before, D Live is generally OFF on my transceivers. And I rarely use the Main Only RxMode. So I had never noticed this. 73'

Thank you very much for your efforts.
I wonder if the the whole DTMF receiving (and transmitting) function can be disabled.
Some people do not need that at all, and for others like me it is also getting in our way of receive transmissions without them being cut off by false positives of fictional DTMF.

Here is a video example of a person that his voice is detected as DTMF and then the device has problems receiving even though the signal is ok.
