Hello, You need to load the Chirp driver from Chirp. There is no need to install python modules with PIP. Please take the time to read or re-read the documentation if necessary. Armel, F4HWN. |

I felt brave, went ahead and tried the driver "for real" on my HT. It worked beautifully. How? Don't ask me. Yet I couldn't be happier. Thanks. |

Hello,
I downloaded the CHIRP module f4hwn.chirp.driver.v3.4.py and couldn't resist giving a look into it. I verified that it contains imports to libraries that my system does not have installed, namely wx e chirp. Thus, common sense says that the CHIRP module won't work properly when activated after loading. What should I do? Neither wx nor chirp can be installed with pip (I tried). All the other models (webbrowser, logging, etc) are there.
What should I do? Should I load the .py module on CHIRP and run CHIRP this way without worries? My HT has F4HWN 4.0.
Thank you.
