I think I found the reason for the incompatibility between 0.9 materials and the 1.0alpha materials. --->> The old MixRGB node is now called Mix Color. What do you recommend to update the old material .arm files that contain a MixRGB node? Regards |

Still looking for a fix for this. Armor paint appears to do this immediately if you even suggest the directory paths containing any .arm extensions. It doesn't matter which version. Once the .arm file cannot be read the entire program just fails. This is a massive oversight that needs to be addressed. Re-creating all custom materials or individually checking each file is just not acceptable. |

Yesterday, I updated my Armorpaint version via a fresh Gumroad download (from 0.9 (2023-01-05) to 1.0 alpha)
When I use the browser at the bottom to navigate to the folder where I saved all my materials (a collection of .arm files) the application always CTD.
Double-clicking one of those .arm files in Windows Explorer launches Armorpaint but it also CTD immediately after.
Not looking forward having to set up all the nodes for every material all over again.
Any other suggestions?
Regards,
Sylvain
