This looks like a bug, thanks for letting me know. If I manually type the value 100 into the hardness field (instead of 1.0 which can be set by mouse and should be the maximum) then the soft edge seems to be gone completely. Will fix. Link with #1952. |

As the title says, when I attempt to paint or erase on the 2D view, the brush always has an extremely soft edge, regardless of what its hardness is set to in either the node editor or on the toolbar. The hardness does apply properly when painting in the 3D view, but I like to use the 2D view when I need to clean up "overspray" that occurred while painting in the 3D view. Am I missing something, or does the brush hardness simply not apply in the 2D view?
