Implement a -s / --silent mode for kat

At present the `kat` script is purposefully talky. This could make it less than ideal for composition in a Unix pipeline, see also #6.

The `kat` script should be extended with a `-s` and `--silent` flag which causes all output to be suppressed save for the results of processing the response.
