+Type-X doesn’t require any kind of user account. There are no trackers, and it collects no data, even for analytics. No ads will ever be added. Your fonts stay on your computer, cached in your local browser. Much of the development was enabled by generous financial support from the Google Fonts team, because it is used to develop fonts commissioned by Google.
