Better apply less stuff in patches to the kernel. On PostmarketOS it's hard to have out-of-tree patches.

I'm preparing to upstream this code into the kernel.

Just want to check the License as you use GPL3 and kernel uses GPL2.

Could the code be submitted under GPL2?
