Hi,
This should work, You can try configuring Background Request URL: as your profile/ landing page URL or something. Please check the foreground rule also using the same URL, just to confirm that accessing the URL in specific intervals prevents the session from timing out. If that is the case, page may have implemented custom Javascript code to timeout the user.
