CTAN Release 2021-??-?? RC1

This is the first release candicate for “TeX Live 2021,” based on the recently tuned-up WEB sources. Note that the newly compiled binaries were not used for the creation of the PDF documentation, nor have any updated macros been used at this time.

Known issues:

• weave.web still has version 4.4, instead of 4.5
• Omega dviware (omegaware) and BibTeX still have \titlepage{F} instead of \titlefalse

TODO:

• Update makeall by removing (most of) the FIX entries
• Upgrade CWEB from version 3.64c to version 4.0
• Add the latest tune-up to the errata information
• Use the new programs for the production of the PDF library

CTAN release 2020-07-08.

• Bug fix in \pdfURL macro.
• Links and bookmarks in cwebman.pdf and webman.pdf.

CTAN release 2020-06-27.

• pwebmac.tex creates page headers like cwebmac.tex, not like webmac.tex
• makeall was greatly simplified
• index.md references a single copy of ctwill.pdf

CTAN release 2020-06-17.

• pwebmac.tex received a few cosmetic changes
• makeall was greatly extended all over the place
• index.md is new

CTAN release 2020-06-01.

Significant changes

• makeall now formats codes for CWEB, CTIE, and TIE
• pwebmac.tex now has two-part \marks
  • section number
  • group title
• the final “Names of the sections” section has lost its section number, similar to CWEB

CTAN release 2020-05-29.

• Add copyleft to package and files

Let's create a new package for the “Comprehensive TeX Archive Network” (CTAN).

pwebmac-4.5-rc4: Rename macros again.

It's 'Pascal/WEB' and 'pwebmac.tex' like 'C/WEB' and 'cwebmac.tex'.
Also, the logic of 'makeall' had to be fixed and amended.

tlwebmac.tex-4.5-rc3

Pack the sets of PDF documents for submission.

tlwebmac.tex-4.5-rc2: Restore canonical Knuth WEB.

'webmac.tex' is deemed to be kept in its original form forever --
safe for genuine bug fixes.  The extended set of macros is renamed to
'tlwebmac.tex' and will be a separate animal used in 'makeall' for PDF
production in TeX Live.
