@kelle @jdswinbank The scope of this FR is (from my perspective) in the continuation of what I've been doing with previous allocations, but it's a bit more targeted towards specific goals. As such, I'm wondering if amending my existing contract is the way to go, or if we should consider starting a brand new one ? I'm not entirely sure this makes a difference in practice, given my existing contract was intentionally broad enough to allow many kinds of actions, including the ones I'm aiming for here, but just wanted to touch base first.

I think a contract amendment will be fine. Even with an amendment, you could upload the updated (and more specific) scope of work.
