Tracking issue: better integration of x86-64 support #632
Description
We've got basic drivers for x86-64 but the integration of them right now is harder than it needs to be.
There's a variety of issues that should be solved before we can say that x86-64 support is not experimental.

- All x86-64 driver integration requires hard-coding of IRQs/memory regions in each example system compared to ARM/RISC-V platforms.
