moving itunes library to audacious media player

I'm looking for a new up to date player to import my thousands of songs and hundreds of playlists to after not finding a suitable alternative to itunes for many years. It seems logical that you would have considered people importing playlists from itunes would be a large issue. So does audacious support importing an entire library or playlists from itunes and if so how do i do it?

Audacious supports various playlist formats, for example the most common one M3U but also PLS, XSPF and ASX.

If iTunes can export playlists as such format(s), you can import them easily with Audacious.
