Playing .wv Files?

Hello, I've read on a couple of other Sites that Audacious can play these files but I get an error when trying to play them on Linux Arch/Manjaro. The wavpack decoder is checked in the Settings.
Here's the error message... The file could not be decoded. It may be invalid, corrupt, or in an unsupported format.

• What do you get when running "file" on such a .wv audio file?
• Can you run wavpack (the command-line tool) on e.g. a WAV file and test the resulting .wv file in Audacious?

I converted a flac file to .wv and it plays on Audacious.
The other .wv file that won't play on Audacious is from a SACD CD, maybe that's the difference?

If you run "wvunpack" on the file that doesn't play, you could check whether it uncompresses. "wvunpack -s ..." would just show some info about the file encoding.

Uncompressed a .dsf file.....restored 01.dsf in 2.32 secs (lossless, 38.28%)

Audacious is then able to play that file.

That's a Sony DSD Stream and not supported by Audacious, afaik.
