Overwrite of empty values

I noticed that when I overwrite a field value on store website scope to an empty value the checkbox "Use Default" is checked the next time I visit that page. When I save the same page again the default values are in place again.

This is an error with in Magento itself, this module just helped me spotting it more easily. Is there something that can be done about this?
