Hello, i have some problem light my leds. I'll try to give as much information as i can. I’m a beginner, but I did my research before making this post. My setup :
Sofware : Here is some picture of my installation. I try to perform a debug test and this is what i got : And last thing, here is the logs :
I checked to ensure I have 5V everywhere on my LEDs. That part is fine. I would be very grateful for your analysis and the time you spend helping me. Thank you by advance |

Hi As for the TXS0108 level shifter: https://kno.wled.ge/basics/compatible-hardware/ NOT recommended! |

First, let's check the equipment itself.
Download the test firmware attached below to RP2040.
If all connections between elements are made correctly, then in your case the tape will blink blue. |

Hello, First of all, thank you @awawa-dev and @AstaRom for your responses and for taking the time to help me. Special thanks to @awawa-dev for replying so quickly, it’s much appreciated! To provide more details for your analysis: Next, I’ll try the steps you both suggested: I’ll follow up within one week with the results once I’ve gone through these steps. Thanks again for your help! |

Hello again, It's been a while since I last worked on this project, but I’ve recently picked it back up and ran several new tests.
Then, based on your recommendations, I replaced the TXS0108 level shifter with a SN74AHCT125N, but again, the LEDs still did not light up. At this point, I’m a bit lost. Here’s a quick summary of my setup:
I have double-checked my wiring multiple times, and it matches exactly the wiring diagram I shared earlier in this thread. Is there something wrong in my wiring, or could the way I’m powering the strip from multiple sides be causing issues with the data line? Any insight or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your time and support! |

You're absolutely right ! All segments are correctly connected with arrows aligned in the same direction, except for the data input, which I mistakenly connected in reverse. As for the power side, I’m using a 5V 40A power supply, and I’ve also added fuse holders as a protection. I double-checked with a multimeter and I do have a solid 5V reading directly on the LED strips. Thanks again @awawa-dev for pointing that out, especially during the weekend. I really appreciate the quick and helpful response. I’ll fix the wiring direction and run the tests again. I'll follow up soon with the results! |

You were absolutely right ! the first LED was faulty.
I cut it off and resoldered the wires to the next LED, and now it’s working like a charm!
Thank you so much for your time and your help @awawa-dev and @AstaRom !
