There are no plans to update this plugin for v4. The native rich editor is basically the same thing with 90% of the same functionality. I am planning on a plugin to add the missing features to core though.

I recommend working on updating your data to work with the native editor.

The only thing that I am missing on the new Filament v4 RichEditor is the amazing mention feature that was added @thijskuilman on #549.

I would love to see it as a standalone plugin for the RichEditor 🙏

@awcodes there is many things which native rich editor cannot do, for example change text color, change font size, font family, change text background color

There is an open pr for text color and grids to the core editor. The other things you mentioned aren't even available in this plugin.

Ah cool, didnt know about that PR, most I want is change color of text and size.

what was really cool about this editor is that it allowed to define your own blocks

You can define custom blocks with the core editor in v4 now.
