The issue stems from the nutrition agent's data source in the pet clinic AI system. The nutrition agent (pet_clinic_ai_agents/nutrition_agent/nutrition_agent.py) relies on the nutrition service API (pet-nutrition-service/) for product recommendations.

Key Findings:

• Missing Fish Data: The nutrition service database (pet-nutrition-service/db-seed.js) contains product data for cats, dogs, lizards, snakes, birds, and hamsters, but no fish-specific products

• Fallback Behavior: When customers ask about fish nutrition, the agent likely falls back to generic recommendations or data from the static pet database (pet_clinic_ai_agents/nutrition_agent/pet_database.yaml) which contains fish nutrition facts but no specific product recommendations

• Agent Configuration Issue: The nutrition agent's system prompt instructs it to "recommend the SPECIFIC PRODUCT NAMES provided to you that pet owners should buy FROM OUR PET CLINIC" but the service lacks fish products

Specific Problems:

1. Data Gap: pet-nutrition-service/db-seed.js seeds the database with products for 6 pet types but excludes fish
2. Service Limitation: The nutrition service API endpoint /nutrition/fish likely returns no products field or empty products
3. Agent Behavior: The nutrition agent may be recommending generic fish food products not available in the clinic's inventory

Recommended Fix:

Add fish-specific products to the nutrition service database by updating pet-nutrition-service/db-seed.js:
