Support python 3.12+

I would like to use the instrumentation in a combination with AWS Lambda SnapStart. The later one only supports Python 3.12 and higher.

The following python versions are supported on Lambda with ensured compatibilities. See Supported runtimes.

• 3.10
• 3.11
• 3.12
• 3.13

Do you observe any issue during instrumentation?

Requirements

Python versions 3.8 to 3.11 are required to run an application using OpenTelemetry.
