CDK deploy fails due to the end of support of lambda nodejs12

CDK deploy fails with the following message dur to the end of support of lambda nodejs12

Resource handler returned message: "The runtime parameter of nodejs12.x is no longer supported for creating or updating AWS Lambda functions. We recommend you use the new runtime (nodejs18.x) while creating or updating functions. (Service: Lambda, Status Code: 400, Request ID: xxx)" (RequestToken: xxx, HandlerErrorCode: InvalidRequest)

I changed cdk version from 2.17.0 to 2.104.0 in package.json and lambda runtime from lambda.Runtime.NODEJS_14_X to lambda.Runtime.NODEJS_16_X in /lib/cognito_identity_pool_sample-stack.ts and it worked.
