aac sample rate

I have the Kinesis Video Streams media player and the video and sound play smoothly at an aac sample rate of 32kHZ. However, when I use 48KHZ and 44.1KHZ for sample rate, it keeps showing loading and stuttering.
Is there any limitation in the player?
