Question about other languages?

This is terrific and we will be using it in our Go projects. I am curious if anyone on the development team knows if there are projects to do something similar in other languages? That would be highly useful. I'd be particularly interested in Ruby. I see that a Python wrapper is also available now, which is great.

A similar project in Ruby is currently being considered, but unfortunately we cannot comment on timelines at the moment.

If you don't mind, I was wondering if you'd be willing to share your thoughts on what you expect an AWS Ruby driver to accomplish? Are there any particular features that interest you? Also as a Ruby dev, are there any popular frameworks, libraries, or tools that we should consider for compatibility/integration? If there are any other thoughts you'd like to share, we'd be happy to listen.
