Filter tag value changes when using "cdk diff"

There is a git revision tag added to all resources that allow tagging. This makes checking the deployment plan using cdk diff difficult, because the actual changes are hidden with a blob of this tag value changes. Is there a way to filter out such changes as a parameter to cdk diff?

There are no filters you can currently apply to cdk diff. If this is still desired, we can open this as a p2 feature request that we will need contributor support to implement
