Why is public_load_balancer defaulting to true for NetworkLoadBalancedFargateService?

NetworkLoadBalancedFargateService defaults public_load_balancer to true. This can lead to accidentally making something public that wasn't supposed to be. It seems to me that public_load_balancer should be opt-in instead of opt-out.

Our L3s are supposed to be opinionated. If there's anything you need to modify that's not easy to, we recommend dropping down to L2s. If there's a default that seems opinionated, that's by design!
