CDK python Lambda asset bundling using Docker in CICD setups not working

Looking into this Issue #8799 @webratz , it looks like the issue can be resolved using passing volumes_from as part of BundlingOptions https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cdk/api/v2/python/aws_cdk/BundlingOptions.html .

I am finding it difficult with my python piece of code and asking for assistance here.

My CDKstack code snippet is like below

I am getting the error RuntimeError: Bundling did not produce any output. Check that content is written to /asset-output. .
I have added volumes_from : ["$HOSTNAME"] under BundlingOptions , but that doesn't resolved it. I am very new in aws-cdk and asking for some guidance here.
