Region Hardcoded as us-east-1 for Serverless Repo in Secret Rotation

In https://github.com/aws/aws-cdk/blob/main/packages/aws-cdk-lib/aws-secretsmanager/lib/secret-rotation.ts#L132C1-L139C4 currently the region for the serverless repo is hardcoded as us-east-1 for SecretRotationApplication:

    this.isMultiUser = options && options.isMultiUser;
  }

We are currently working in a setting, where our permissions are restricted to only access certain regions.

Do you think it would make sense to make the region configurable here (i.e., to open a feature request or bug)? Or is there any other way to work around this?

The application is a public one that can be referenced - I can't find it in any other region https://serverlessrepo.aws.amazon.com/applications/arn:aws:serverlessrepo:us-east-1:297356227824:applications~SecretsManagerRDSMySQLRotationSingleUser

@github-actions proposed-answer Given the above that the application is only available in us-east-1, there's not a great way we can help out on our end since we assume that we should be able to reference the existing application. However, using the source code links found here and the application templates here, you should be able to relatively easily recreate the same functionality
