Weird error from personalizeruntime service with FilterValues

GetRecommendationsInput expects FilterValues of type map[string]string.

The following recommendations input though

recInput := personalizeruntime.GetRecommendationsInput{
		CampaignArn: aws.String(campaignArn),
		NumResults:  10,
		FilterArn:   aws.String(validItemsFilterArn),
		FilterValues: map[string]string{
			"site":      "site",
			"notbefore": "1688123326",
		},
	}
_, err := s.personalize.GetRecommendations(ctx, &recInput)

return the following error

 "operation error Personalize Runtime: GetRecommendations, https response error StatusCode: 400, RequestID: 5362653f-94ad-4200-b0b2-d4f854241cbe, InvalidInputException: Unable to parse filter values. Sample format is filterValues: { \"genres\": \"\\\"comedy\\\"\"} or filterValues: { \"genres\": \"\\\"comedy\\\",\\\"action\\\"\"} or filterValues: { \"num\": \"100\"}"

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

The error tells you that you need to format the values with escaped quotes:

		FilterValues: map[string]string{
			"site":      "\"site\"",
			"notbefore": "\"1688123326\"",
		},

Yes, I've actually solved it this way, but this is a GO SDK not a Curl request we do via a CLI, shouldn't the actual SDK take care of the escaping? When the method ask for a map[string]string it should be a string that you need to pass, no strings with escaped quotes. At least have an example in the documentation if that's something the SDK doesn't take care of itself.
