Hi @cbertozzi - thanks for reaching out. I wanted to make sure I understand your request first: can you elaborate "Actions" you'd like to see and how it'd be beneficial to be added?

@aBurmeseDev sure, I'm talking about Actions in AWS IAM Policies that we have to attach to role given at resource that uses SDK. I think that will be great if for every documented method we can have the list of the related Policy Actions to enable (moreover, maybe some method requires more than one actions to enable?)

@cbertozzi thanks for the clarification. The content you see in every command page of our API ref docs get generated upstream by service docs (for example: PutEventsCommand gets generated from this PutEvents).

The actions of IAM policy of each service is defined by corresponding service teams and this request would be for service team to add them in their docs which will get auto-generated into our SDK docs. You may directly contact service team via AWS Support.

I can however share where you can easily find what you're asking. Here's where you can find those Actions for every service: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/service-authorization/latest/reference/reference_policies_actions-resources-contextkeys.html

Alternatively, you can find it on AWS Console under IAM create policy: https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home?region=us-west-1#/policies/create

thank you @aBurmeseDev , this link https://docs.aws.amazon.com/service-authorization/latest/reference/reference_policies_actions-resources-contextkeys.html is a very very super useful page, i'll bookmark it for sure (it's not always easy navigate through the huge AWS documentation and find what you need)

It would be great if that content could be integrated in the SDK pages
