Can't set the workspace threads

Whenever I set the workspace threads on my IDE and restart, they always default back to 0. Since this is a setting that requires a restart, I just can't set the threads.

Leaving this setting at 0 just isn't usable as it slows down the PC to a crawl

It also doesn't respect the check to index the workspace. Even when it is disabled, it spawns the index companion processes. Had to disable the plugin completely.
