I am working with Claude Code via the new VS Code extension. It works great for local and remote dev files, but unfortunately it is unable to perform operations on files opened and being edited from S3 due to the virtual file system that aws toolkit appears to use. I propose that it would be desirable to have an option to configure a local (relative to extension) temp directory that Claude can access the files being edited.
