Description
Problem
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Launch Q on Visual Studio in agent mode
- create a prompt like "Document project"
- Q starts to process the request and then Q give an update saying "Updating doc Readme..." then you get a change bock
4. When you click on the Readme or any other file that has changed you get an error
-->
Expected behavior
No error and you should be able to see the DIFF between the original and the change that Q made to the code
Early last we this was working fine, however towards end of the week this started to display, I can confirm it's not just me other users have the same issue.
All plugins disbles and even complete reinstall and full reset including registry was tried, but same issue across multiple windows machines.
Worth noting that on Mac OS visual studio code worked fine and did not have this problem.
Logs point to how amazon Q is passing over the DIFF to git
