Basic example of how to create a client?

Can you please add just a basic example of how to create a client and issue a request in a real-world app or lambda? The demo cases all use macros, and the README has only command line stuff. I have been browsing the rust docs and googling for a long time and finding only out of date examples or just nothing but type definitions.

Our SDK is for communicating with AWS services. We don't maintain an app framework or anything like that. I think what you're looking for is something like aws-lambda-rust-runtime.

They have examples of creating, deploying, and running lambdas. Here's one from their README:

I'm guessing you've looked at the examples here right? S3 has some great examples, like this one that demonstrates creating a client and sending a request.

Are you referring to the usage of #[tokio::main] in examples? That's a common shorthand for setting up an async runtime with tokio. If there are other macros that you're having trouble with, let me know and I'd be happy to explain them in greater detail.
