Upcoming Change: Minimum macOS version will be increasing to 12

To keep the AWS SDK for Swift modern and maintainable, we will be raising our minimum supported macOS version from 10.15 to 12, effective June 18th.

This change was first announced a few months ago in #1889 and received positive feedback from the community. Minimum deployment versions for iOS/iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS will remain unchanged until later this year.

Breaking changes like this should always be a major release, not included in a minor one.

@jsiegers Apologies that we did not bump the minor version for this change! However, in the future please be aware that minor version bumps may contain breaking changes. In general, patch version bumps should not while major versions are reserved for very significant changes. Thanks for the reply. For me, a breaking change is a very significant change.
It's just not logical for users using your software. Most of the time, when one updates the package, it's usually with the policy "up until next major". Expecting no breaking changes, but mainly bug fixes.
When this does contain a breaking change, you're forcing people to work on it right away. In this case, we had to bump our entire application to macOS 12 as well, which could be a lot of unexpected work.
