Cannot use only the LFS part of the package

In my use case, I want to keep the repository on Github while storing LFS data in S3. The package currently requires S3 remote configured, and this conflicts with the setup.

It would be great to be able to configure LFS URL separately from the remote.

I will consider this request, but in the meanwhile you can use https://github.com/nicolas-graves/lfs-s3 which implements only the LFS parts.

Thanks @massi-ang , I tried this package before, but it didn't work then. I may try again, but now I am using patched version of git-remote-s3 with my team. Since we mainly use Python, the installation is easier than with binary packages.
