This PR adds the Alliance of Genome Resources dataset to the AWS Open Data Registry.

The Alliance of Genome Resources is a consortium that integrates genomic, genetic, and molecular data from leading model organism databases including data from Drosophila, C. elegans, zebrafish, mouse, rat, yeast, Xenopus, and human.

Key Features:

  • Two S3 buckets: Alliance-wide integrated data (mod-datadumps) and FlyBase-specific data (s3ftp.flybase.org)
  • Comprehensive datasets including gene annotations, disease associations, expression data, interactions, orthology, and genome sequences
  • Quarterly release schedule
  • Documentation and tutorials available at https://github.com/alliance-genome/agr_open_data

Resources:

  • Alliance integrated data: s3://mod-datadumps
  • FlyBase Drosophila data: s3://s3ftp.flybase.org (publicly accessible via HTTPS)
