trying to generate images at a higher resolution than what a model is trained on causes issues like duplicate objects.

you can get by this by generating an image at a lower resolution, then running it through img2img to get a higher resolution without issues.

auto1111 might only partially generate an image before upscaling, but i'm not sure.
