Add extensive tests for REAL and FLOAT (#3583)

With this commit we have added more test cases for real and float datatype. The motive behind this is to identify the gaps for the respective datatypes and to create a plan to fix them. With these tests, we have found and listed quite a few issues but for now we intend to merge the buggy test cases with wrong expected output -- Aiming at reducing any regressions caused along the way.
