Babelmark 3 is currently down, whenever trying to convert a Markdown input, we will get this warning:

An unexpected error occured when trying to contact babelmark-proxy. Reason: timeout, Error status: 0

Yes, there is an issue with the Azure subscription that I cannot fix. I contacted their support and waiting for a fix.
