The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and perpetual license to use the BALTECH Mobile ID SDK (hereinafter referred to as the "SDK") and its accompanying documentation. Use is permitted for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.
The SDK remains the exclusive property of the Licensor.
All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in the SDK remain with the Licensor. This agreement does not transfer any ownership rights, but only the usage rights specified in Section 1.
The Licensee may not:
- modify, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the SDK;
- redistribute, sell, rent, or lease the SDK, unless explicitly permitted in writing by the Licensor.
The SDK is provided "as is", without any express or implied warranty of any kind.
The Licensor shall not be liable for any damages arising directly or indirectly from the use or inability to use the SDK, including but not limited to loss of profit, data loss, or business interruption.
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, shall be the registered office of the Licensor.
