Elasticsearch 2.x

At the moment (of writing - 2018-07-28) codebase is fully compatible with Elasticsearch 2.x, 5.x and 6.x.

Forced dropping of 2.x branch is not planned at all (and will be supported as long as it's possible).

However, have in mind that 2.x branch has been officially deprecated as of 2018-02-28. Consider to upgrade to at least 5.x ASAP.

Additionally, since Elasticsearch develops rapidly, support for extremely useful features (that are missing in 2.x or even 5.x) might be added along the way.
