Git error when running "kamal setup" or "kamal deploy"

Hello. I'm trying to deploy a basic Ruby on Rails app using Kamal and Docker Hub. When I try to run "kamal setup" or "kamal deploy" I get the following error.

Fairly certain my config is set up correctly, but I've included the output of "kamal config" just in case.

Any insight on how I could solve this would be appreciated!

Can you run 'git init'?

Yes. Output is
"Reinitialized existing Git repository in /var/www/store/.git/"
I still get the same error after doing this
