My Asus TUF F17 laptop runs a i5-11th gen processor with a rtx 3050. I notice the battery performance is always worse on Omarchy than on Windows (where I typically could get 3-5 hours of web browsing with power saving on)
On Omarchy, I always kept it at power saving mode when it's running at battery mode. I've used supergfxctl to run integrated gpu only but somehow it still doesn't quite achieve what I was getting on windows (for performing similar tasks like web browsing)
It just doesn't make much sense that I'm using less resources (ram, CPU, GPU) on Linux but somehow losing out on more battery?
