Disable clipboard history & enable PRIMARY across all apps

Hi guys

1. I don't like keeping my clipboard history around. Is there a way to disable this feature? This doesn't work for me at all, even if I remove elephant's cache and reboot.
   Hmm. It's working now. Weird.

2. Coming from X, I am quite used to PRIMARY (select to copy, middle-click or Shift + Ins to paste) and CLIPBOARD (normal behavior). From what I understand, Wayland doesn't support this out of the box, but can it be configured? It's incredibly confusing, especially when I'm switching from other machines that run X. I am aware of Super + C and Super + V.

   • PRIMARY works in Ghostty alone with copy-on-select = true but not when pasting from Ghostty to other apps. Strangely enough, I can paste PRIMARY to Ghostty.
   • Same with Files for example, e. g. path selection in address bar is not saved to PRIMARY
   • I am sure I've seen other places where it didn't work as expected
