Why is Disk Encryption mandatory i use windows and arch on the same disk and because of that i cant use omarchy |

Because the LUKS decrypt prompt is the gateway to your machine. Omarchy is designed to be a single user system, so after disk decryption it just autologs. Dual booting was never a planned feature. |

I want to run my Omarchy SER8 as a server and ssh in but disk encryption on boot means if it power cycles I cant log in. How do I disable it? I am fully aware of the security implications. I know this isn't meant to be a server OS but at the same time, servers with desktop environments are really useful when you need less technical people to also set them up and configure them with desktopy style software. |
