An n8n community node for using Baseten-hosted chat models in your n8n workflows.
Baseten is a model inference platform that supports the full OpenAI Chat Completions API, including structured outputs, tool calling, and streaming.

Follow the installation guide in the n8n community nodes documentation.
In your n8n instance, go to Settings → Community Nodes and install:
n8n-nodes-baseten
- Sign up at app.baseten.co
- Go to Settings → API Keys and create a new API key
- In n8n, create a new Baseten API credential and paste your key
The Baseten Chat Model node connects to any model available on Baseten. Use it anywhere n8n accepts a chat model — e.g. the AI Agent node or Basic LLM Chain.
Once your API key is saved, the Model dropdown auto-populates with all available models. You can also set it to a model slug directly, for example {{ "moonshotai/Kimi-K2.5" }}.
