Agreed! My wife and I bought our first house last year. It's an older home without a lot of overhead lighting (which we aren't huge fans of, anyway!). But this integration causes all of our uplighting/lamps make the house feel so inviting. And it gets my wife on board with more smart home purchases. "If I put WLED in this bookshelf, we can hook Adaptive Lighting into it..." is a selling point now

I would also like to thank you for the great HA add-on that controls the dimming and brightness throughout our house and we have been using it for about 2 years now? Our whole family is used to it and takes it for granted what "dad did as part of our smart home". But I know that behind this specific code there is a specific person who created it and maintains it so that the "warmth of our home" always has that perfect color and brightness. Thanks again.

Another thank you from me (came here from the update notes). This gets used probably more than anything else in HA for me; being able to control "sleep mode" on lights has been a godsend for automatons relating to sleeping kiddo's, and for the house to have a uniform colour/brightness etc, even across different brands of lights, at all times.

This integration has saved me so much time and energy not having to manually adjust CCT throughout the day as part of my automations. It's so intuitive and "just works" that it got my family on board with installing tunable lights throughout our home. Of the 30+ Python packages I maintain, this one has by far been the most successful in terms of number of users, although I have no clue how many people actually use it but the GitHub Stars seem to suggest it.

Of the ~80% of Home Assistant installs that opt into sending telemetry, it looks like that count is close to 13k currently!

Plus one to all the endorsements in the previous comments; This integration is one of my absolute favorite things about HA. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Yep, the official analytics frontend excludes custom integrations but they can be found in that JSON response as you noticed. Shields.io badges like this are the only way I'm aware this is commonly consumed.

Seattle gets real dreary during the winter months with a lot of dark, rainy days; seasonal depression is a real struggle here. (Even now, it's 11am, rainy, and no sun in sight.) Believe it or not, using Adaptive Lighting to maintain the daily transition from cool daylight lighting to warm evening lighting has had a substantial, noticeable impact on my mental health the last few years. Its now an integral part of my home from the living room, my home office, and even my bedroom closet. It really helps to have the consistency indoors, regardless of what the weather is doing outdoors.

The functionality this integration provides is so fundamental it should be included in core, imho. Sadly AI seems more important these days for the core developers.

This is one of my favorite integrations -- it's so unnecessary for all my lights to be (relatively) in sync with warmth and brightness, and most of the time I don't notice it at all, but that makes it even better because I forget that it's happening in the background.

My biggest complaint is not being able to control the max/min brightness for individual lights. I've got a couple that are way brighter and I need to make a new entry just for them, but I'm not complaining!

I have used home assistant for nine years. This is my favorite integration by far- I love having my lights synchronized to circadian rhythm, I use it all throughout my house. The sleep mode is excellent- once it's past my bedtime, my bedroom is lit exclusively like a submarine. Thank you!

ABsolutely love this integration. I have some lamps with addressable colour temp bulbs in the living room and it makes it feel so bright and airy in the day and cosy at night with no effort from me. Cheers!
