Writing down some initial thoughts on next steps here. We set up this repo quickly in order to be able to serve just the two clang-format binaries we need.
Items to consider if we further build this out:
- Should we have separate releases for different binaries, or should we have build-number-based releases and include all the binaries in every release? If we have separate tags/releases for different binaries, that makes it hard to understand what is "latest" per binary.
- We probably don't need to wrap the binary in
tar.gz
