Success: New role for user set successfully… in fact, nothing happens!

Hey there 👋 
I am looking to use:
wp bbp user set-role --user-id=<user> --role=<role>

I have this message in the end:
Success: New role for user set successfully

but by reloading my user page in my wordpress admin, in real nothing is done.

Any help on this please?
