Future Issue to Address
SPI is being replaced by the Species Inventory Management System (SIMS) and BioHubBC (set to take place in the fall of 2024).
The format of the project data to be uploaded to SIMS (including metadata and time lapse data related to camera traps) will differ from that of SPI. As a result, the exported csv format from the fill_spi_template() function will need to be updated to reflect the new format.
For the time being, either the csv file as it is currently formatted by the script, or the csv files as produced by Timelapse, can be edited (unnecessary columns deleted, column headings renamed).
