Tile view: only half of the space used, bigger font size?

Hi there,
I just switched over to Aegis – I really like the tile view – but it's wasting half of my screen size with whitespace.
I do like whitespace, but coming from FreeOTP or even the normal view I don't quite understand why the font is so small in tile.

You've got various options for the list view ... how about a title option for better readibilty (the height would be a little bit more, but the text/code would be better readable:

Thank you for your words. I'm not entirely sure what the preferred outcome would be. The tiles view is introduced to allow more entries to be visible at the same time, a higher font size would not only increase the chances of the code spanning across multiple lines, it would also allow less entries at the same time on the screen, which kind of defeats its purpose imo.

Obviously there are multiple way to solve this, but just increasing the font size and playing a bit with whitespace won't do the trick I am afraid. (unless I am missing something)

I didn't know codes can have more than 6 characters (which all of mine have) so I guess you're stuck on a fixed font size instead of a relative to the parent container one? You're right, wrapping codes is no option.

I would prefer losing a row or two in favour of font size, hence the thought of an additional option – but maybe that's just me.
You still would have doubled the amount of visible codes.

Sry, I don't know much about app development, maybe I'm thinking to simple and don't see all the angles.

You're good! I appreciate the thought and I am willing to improve this view, I just don't know how 😅 I am afraid dynamic font sizing won't look good either since it will make each code a different size. Perhaps we could increase the font size when all codes are only 6 characters but that has some caveats as well...

You're right... every code in different sizes is no good either. I guess in the end it's just a thing to get used to.

You have view modes "Normal", "Compact", "Small", and "Tiles". The first three are just size options on the list view. Why not add "Large Tiles" as an option there.

By the way, Normal - Compact - Small are seemingly out of order. It might make more sense to rename "Compact" to "Very Small" and present those in order, or something.

For me the biggest problem with tile view is that the titles have super small fonts which I can barely read.
Anything smaller than the fonts size in Compact is too small.
Anything bigger than Compact/Small would take up too much vertical space and reduce the items that would fit.
Custom font size would be another way to do it, but that involves additional complexity.
